The Nigeria’s Super eagles will step up preparation for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania with a test game against local club Akwa united today.
German coach Gernot Rohr took charge of the team’s squard, Super Eagles, as they began training for the first time on Tuesday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
Captain Mikel John Obi, Ahmed Musa, Leon Balogun, Kelechi Iheanacho and Victor Moses are the latest to join the team’s camp.
Team administrator Dayo Enebi Achor confirms the duo of Moses Simon and Kingsley Madu will arrive on Wednesday.
The delegation of Tanzania’s Taifa Stars is expected to arrive in Nigeria on Wednesday, while the match officials will jet in on Thursday.
