Israel DMW Warns Nigerians Against Selling Votes Ahead Of 2027 Elections, Shares Video Of Terrorist Torturing Victim

Popular social media personality and logistics manager to music star Davido, Israel Afeare, widely known as Israel DMW, has urged Nigerians not to sell their votes ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Israel DMW issued a strong warning to voters, stressing the long-term consequences of exchanging their votes for money, food items, or other incentives during elections.

To drive home his message, he shared a disturbing video showing kidnap victims being flogged by their abductors. According to him, such incidents highlight the harsh realities of insecurity in the country and should serve as a reminder of the importance of electing credible leaders.

"Think of kidnap victims being flogged by their abductors before selling your soul for money or food items," he wrote. He specifically criticized the practice of trading votes for a bag of rice, instant noodles, or as little as ₦10,000, urging citizens to prioritize the future of the nation over temporary gains.

Israel DMW also expressed concerns about Nigeria's security situation, alleging that some arrested kidnappers are often released back into society after being labeled as "repentant" criminals, only to return to criminal activities and continue terrorizing innocent citizens.

His comments have since sparked conversations online about voter responsibility, governance, and the growing concerns over insecurity in the country as preparations for the 2027 elections gradually gather momentum.
