Sheggz Deletes Initial Breakup Statement, Clarifies He Never Intended To Portray Bella As Unfaithful

 Former Big Brother Naija stars Segun “Sheggz” Olusemo and Bella Okagbue have officially gone their separate ways, with Sheggz confirming that their relationship ended in January 2026.

The reality TV star initially opened up about the breakup in a lengthy statement on August 19, explaining his perspective on the relationship and denying claims of cheating and abuse. He also revealed that he had bought an engagement ring because he genuinely hoped the relationship would lead to marriage. 

However, Dafy World confirmed the initial statement triggered a wave of reactions on social media, with some users interpreting his comments as portraying Bella negatively. Sheggz subsequently deleted the original statement and returned with a shorter clarification.

In the new statement, Sheggz stressed that it was never his intention to accuse or portray Bella as an unfaithful woman. He also urged fans not to reduce what happened between them to cheating allegations against either party, saying some matters were better left private.

He described their relationship as one in which they shared “mutual respect and genuine love” while it lasted and asked fans to respect their decision to move forward separately while maintaining a cordial relationship.

“I have seen the conversations and interpretations circulating on social media following my recent statement.

I would like to clarify that it was never my intention to accuse or portray Bella as an unfaithful woman. My previous statement was simply to provide context from my perspective for the genuine fans and supporters who have stood by us through the years.

We shared mutual respect and genuine love for each other while it lasted. Like every relationship, including marriages, we had our ups and downs.

What happened between us should not be reduced to speculation or accusations of cheating against either party. Some matters are best left private and respected as such.

I sincerely thank our genuine fans, friends and supporters for their love throughout our journey.

I respectfully ask for your understanding and respect for our mutual decision to move forward separately, while continuing to maintain a cordial relationship.
