Brazil has denied visa requests for two officials from U.S. President Donald Trump's administration who were expected to visit the country ahead of its October presidential election. Two Brazilian officials familiar with the matter told Reuters that the visas were rejected because authorities believed the planned visit could be used to cast doubt on the credibility of Brazil's electoral system and influence the upcoming vote.
