Like Wizkid, Davido also did NOT perform in Congo!

 

Nigerian pop star, Wizkid didn’t perform at the Wireless Festival in London as organizers blamed it on visa issues.

A similar fate befell Davido in far away Lubumbashi in Congo.

On Friday, July 8, 2016, Nigerian pop star, Davido was billed to perform at the stadium in Lubumbashi, Congo as the headline act for a concert.

 
Davido had been in Congo for the past two days ahead of a concert he’s been scheduled to headline tonight.

The event was however marred by violence and over capacity which ultimately let to a huge chaos between the fans and police, thus the show was subsequently cancelled.

However, he got to the venue but couldn’t perform as a riot broke out at the venue.
According to Davido, ‘there’s a riot at my show. Police VS fans, crazy F**king shit. 

They raped one of the opening acts opening for me’.
