First Lady Michelle Obama takes the stage during the first day of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia

Michelle Obama’s fashion is always on point and her latest look for the 2016 Democratic National Convention.

The fashionable first lady had a prime spot on the opening night of the DNC and her custom-made Christian Siriano dress was pretty and polished for the occasion!

Michelle Obama‘s highly-anticipated speech on the opening night of the 2016 Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Really struck a chord with viewers as she addressed the crowd, encouraging them to vote in the upcoming election, while drawing on her own experience.

The first lady always looks stylish, appropriate and chic and she knew all eyes would be on her when she took the stage, so she selected an outfit that spoke volumes as she endorsed Hillary Clinton.

Michelle’s appearance was a highlight on the first night of the convention and her Christian Siriano dress was an excellent choice for the role.

The short-sleeved ensemble in bold, cobalt blue was commanding on Flotus.

The silk crepe ensemble featured a flattering A-line silhouette — a custom-made creation that was modeled after a frock from Christian’s Pre-Fall 2016 collection.

“It is an incredible honor to have such an amazing woman wear one of my creations. I am in absolute awe,” Siriano said of the opportunity.

Michelle is no stranger to the DNC stage, however, her role this evening was quite different.

Her speech gave us a glimpse of what we could expect from Michelle once the Obama family moves out of the White House should she choose to explore her role in politics.

Prior to rocking the stage, Michelle appeared on The Late Late Show just last week where she played “Carpool Karaoke” with host James Corden. Michelle sang “Single Ladies” and “Get Ur Freak On.”

Whether she’s rocking the stage or singing her heart out, we can’t get enough of Michelle’s fierce fashion statements.
