Mikel, Batshuayi, and others score as Chelsea thrash Austrian side





 Mikel Obi was on target for Chelsea who defeated a local side in Austria (8-0) in a warm-up match on Thursday.

The 29-year-old star who was recently included in Nigeria's Olympic squad for the 2016 Rio Olympics football event as an over-aged player scored in the first half of the encounter according to the official Twitter handle of Chelsea. 

Loic Remy also scored a first half brace to give the Blues a 3-0 lead into the break before completing his a hat-trick in the second half.

Chelsea's summer signing Michy Batshuayi and Pedro both grabbed a brace respectively in the second half.

The tweet reads:" @ChelseaFC are 3-0 up at half-time. Two from Remy and one from Mikel… #CFCTour.

"It ended 8-0 to the Blues, with Pedro (2), Batshuayi (2) and Remy adding to our first half goals."

Next up for Chelsea is clash against Liverpool in the International Champions Cup.
