| Milind Soman at age 50 |
Continuing his penchant for fitness, he has attempted to run from Ahmedabad to Mumbai, barefoot. That's a distance of 527 kms, and to do that barefoot, you'll have to doff your hat to this athlete.
During the Ironman triathlon championships last year. Soman completed a course of a 3.8-km swim, an 180.2-km cycle ride and a 42.2-km run in just over 15 hours.
Out of the 527 kms, Soman's covered almost 130
kms in just two days. He doesn't have any comforts of a car ride, bike
or even a cycle to cover the length of his journey - just his bare feet
and his strong will to excel.
He doesn't even look like he's breaking a sweat even though he's sweating profusely in the video. And despite the bad weather and humidity, he hasn't given up!
We wish Milind Soman all the best for this goal and may he continue to inspire us as he's been doing for so many years now.
