I’ll stay at Madrid for a decade - Ronaldo

Portugal forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, says he wants to play for Real Madrid for another decade and retire when he is 41 years old.


Ronaldo, won UEFA’s Best Player in Europe award on Thursday after a year in which he had won the Champions League with Madrid and Euro 2016 with Portugal.

The 31-year-old, beat off stiff competition from team mate Gareth Bale, and Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann who both made the final three shortlist.

He is Real’s all-time top scorer with 362 goals in 342 appearances. The forward’s contract, is due to expire in June 2018 and Ronaldo wants another long term deal.
