Leicester seek to defend title as EPL returns
The most unpredictable, intriguing and perhaps most exciting Premier League Season gets underway this weekend with Champions Leicester City facing Hull City on Saturday.
Claudio Ranieri has a fully-fit squad for the game but defender Robert Huth will be completing a three-game ban.
Ahmed Musa and Nampalys Mendy could make their Premier League debuts for the Foxes.
Arsenal were the last reigning English champions to begin their title defence with a defeat in 1989.
Ranieri will also be looking to secure his 100th Premier League win as a manager.
Other games on Saturday will see Crystal Palace take on West Brom.
Burnley entertain Swansea City. Stoke City face Middlesbrough away.
Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham will be hoping for a good start against Everton following their failed title challenge last season.
And Pep Guardiola’s reign as Manchester City boss starts against Sunderland.
Then on Sunday, all eyes will be on Jose Mourinho and his Manchester United army as they begin their title quest with a trip to Bournemouth.
And the biggest match of the opening round will see Arsenal host Liverpool at the Emirates.E
