Former Burkina Faso international, Ben Idrissa Derme, 34, is dead. He died on Sunday after suffering a heart attack in a French Cup match, his family has revealed.
Ben who played four times for Burkina Faso’s national team in his career, represented amateur side AJ Biguglia in a third-round tie.
According to reports in French media, he suffered a heart attack early in the second half and medical personnel were unable to revive him after treating him on the pitch.
