After the postponement of Edo Gov. Election. On Friday morning, in Okugbe Okpella, Estako East Local Government area of Edo State, where supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and the All Progressives Congress(APC), meet in violent conflicts.
According to a source, the security at the divisional police post in Okpella have been overwhelmed by the youths who may have probably gone out of control, destroying vehicles and other property belonging to supporters of APC.
The source also said the youth came out in their numbers to forcefully break out some suspected PDP thugs arrested by the police from the cell.
According to the source, the violent is likely to be connected to the Thursday’s postponement of Edo state gubernatorial election earlier fixed for tomorrow, Saturday, September 10, 2016.
