The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), has urged the South Sudanese government to respect the rights of the deported spokesman of the opposition.
James Dak of the SPLM-IO was deported to South Sudan from Kenya on Monday after he issued a statement on Facebook supporting the dismissal of Kenyan United Nations Mission in South Sudan commander.
The UNHCR says Dak had previously been granted refugee status by the Kenyan authorities.
