Office of the Accountant General of the Federation has released the mandate to Central Bank of Nigeria to the Nigeria Football Federation the sum of US$1,173,820.00 at N305/$ for the payment of bonuses to the Super Falcon, Eagles.
This amount is been paid to NFF to pay the outstanding bonuses for Super Eagles in the 2018 World Cup Qualifying Matches and for the Super Falcons’ participation in the 10th Women’s Africa nations Cup, and is equally sequel to the approval of Kemi Adeosun, the minister of finance.
The payment was made after members of Super Falcons demonstrated in Abuja demanding payment of their outstanding bonuses which President Muhammadu Buhari later authorised the payment within 24 hours.
