Meet arrested Zimbabwean activist who vows to fight on












Linda Masa-rira is Zimbabwean activist, who has been arrested many times, detained for months, and become the first person to be convicted over mass anti-government protests in 2016, vowed to fight on.
Masa-rira dismissed a case as “a travesty of justice” and insists she committed no crime, after was found guilty of blocking traffic and pedestrians during countrywide protests in July last year.

She has been sentenced by Magistrate Stanford Mambanje to a hefty penalty of 385 hours of community service, with a suspended 18 months in jail.
