A memorial service held at China's club Beijing Enterprises, for former Newcastle United player Cheick Tiote, who died last Monday.
The 30-year-old midfielder, collapsed and died during training for Chinese second division side Beijing Enterprises last week and died after being rushed for treatment.
A statement said: "Tiote's family will be there with his team-mates past and present. On Wednesday, Cheick will be flown back home to the Ivory Coast."
Tiote's Ivory Coast team-mate Gervinho and former Newcastle United colleague Papiss Cisse- both of whom are currently at clubs in China were present at the service. With emotional tears and sadness on the face of team- mates [photos].
