The Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday next week as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The statement reads:
"The Federal Government has declared Monday, 26th and Tuesday, 27th June, 2017, as public holiday to mark the Eid-el-Fitr celebration."Advising against hate speeches, Dambazau urged Muslims and the public to use the period of the celebration to pray for peace in the country.
This was as he reaffirmed the determination of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to protect lives and property of the citizens.
