Cases Of Coronavirus Rise To 131, Nigeria


The number of Coronavirus cases in Nigeria have risen to 131 on Monday as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control record 20 new cases.

Report has shown that out of the 20 new cases, 13 were recorded in Lagos State, four in Federal Capital Territory (Abuja ), two in Kaduna and one in Oyo.
Also,  the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has tested positive for the virus.

However, the NCDC tweeted,  “ Twenty new cases of # COVID 19 have been reported in Nigeria; 13 in Lagos, four in FCT, two in Kaduna and one in Oyo State .

“ As of 09:00 pm on March 30, there are 131 confirmed cases of # COVID 19 reported in Nigeria with two deaths.
“ For a breakdown of cases by states in real-time, Lagos currently has 81 cases , FCT- 25, Ogun- three, Enugu - two, Ekiti - one , Oyo - eight, Edo-two, Bauchi- two, Osun – two, Rivers – one , Benue – one, and Kaduna also has three.”
