Trump declares Sunday ‘National Day of Prayer’ Over Coronavirus



US President, Donald Trump declares Today as a ‘National Day of Prayer' in seeking the face of God and draw strength in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic.

He admonish all United States citizens to pray, believing that the nation and by extension , the world, would overcome the ravaging COVID - 19.

He said, “ It is my great honour to declare Sunday , March 15th as a National Day of Prayer. We are a country that , throughout our history , has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these.

“ No matter where you may be , I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith. Together, we will easily prevail.”

The president also said he had taken a Coronavirus test and that results were expected in a day or two.
Fifty- one Americans have died from coronavirus , according to a tally by John Hopkins University , though the pandemic has claimed more than 5, 700 lives in some 137 countries.

However, the President uses this  medium to Today being Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer.
