Lagos State Government have been able to discharge 46 COVID-19 patients from the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) Yaba, including the release of seven new patients.
The Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made this update in a statement while addressing the people on Friday.
He said, “I bring you more good news from our Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. Today, (Friday), seven more patients; three females and four males were discharged to reconnect with the community having recovered fully and tested negative twice consecutively.
‘This brings to 46, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our Yaba facility.
“The three #COVID19 related deaths recorded in Lagos were not from our facility.
However, he urges citizens to stay at home and observe personal and hand hygiene as adviced by health experts.
