Imo State has banned the celebration of Easter Sunday within state against the spread of the virus.
The state commissioner for Information and strategy, Declan Emelumba, explained that the government lifted the lockdown order on Friday to enable people shop for the Easter celebration.
He added that the lockdown continues from Saturday as a measures to ensure that the virus did not spread to the state.
