Kano State has recorded its first coronavirus death on Wednesday as the number of cases rose to 21.
The update was disclosed by the state ministry of health last night via Twitter handle.
Meanwhile, about 34 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday, taking Nigeria’s total infections to 407.
However, NCDC stated that a total of 128 persons have been discharged, while 12 deaths have been recorded.
