FG, Labour Resume Talks Over Fuel Price Hike, Electricity Tariff

The federal government and the leadership of organised labour have resumed talks over the recent hike in the price of fuel and electricity tariff.

Monday’s meeting comes two weeks after both parties adjourned to enable wider consultations, especially as labour insisted on reversal of prices for any meaningful dialogue to hold.

In their opening remarks, government representatives said remarkable progress had been made ahead of the meeting, particularly on palliatives.
